Stop looking at porn, and look at some DVDs.

This is a dope little DVD about Anderson Sa, a former “outlaw”(Brazilian equivalent to an American thug/d-boy) in Rio de Janeiro, turned rapper/grassroots activist. His tranformation came after what been called “The Massacre” – in 1993, 4 corrupt cops were sprayed down via machine gun fire, while riding by gang members tired of being extorted by the cops. The police force responded/retaliated by coming in an opening fire on innocents: people on their way to work, families praying in their homes, etc….men, women, and children alike.
Anderson Sa and fellow co-founder Jose Junior (with a few others) decided that there had to be a better way of living, and create the Afro Reggae (a blend of dance, African drumming, and hip hop – all in a hybrid dub/reggae feel) movement as a means to change the culture through culture – using what they call “The Shiva Effect”: the concept of rebirth out of chaos. You can support the album here on Amazon.
That’s not all – there are also a couple of shorts on the disc: that is an actual short film about a teenaged Moroccan kid obsessed with metal drumming, which is pretty funny and a good short documentary about Ragini Upadhyaya – a Nepalese artist who does her work as a commentary on the social climate, especially with women, in Nepal and Southeast Asia in general.

Just to preface – I think Alex Jones has a great deal to say that is valid, especially as most of what he says, other people have verified in some way or have covered the particular topic. That being said – he is a lot too high on himself. For example: this and all of his other DVDs. He’ll get on a tangent….start showing himself yelling on a bullhorn, and in repeat mode about the entire subject. If he was WAY more concise and streamlined, and WAY less self-aggrandizing…..he would go over less like a self-promoting conspiracy lunatic…..and more like a responsible journalist.
Now – the DVD is in fact a good one in terms of the facts displayed and explained. It goes from the Bilderberg Group meetings…..to covering the the formations of the EU and the new North American Union…..to the state and reasoning behind the superhighway system in America……to the very scary prospect of Eugenics……..to the (highly possible and never discussed) reasoning behind global warming: the Sun. I have to say that portion of the film was VERY interesting and I will be researching this. If this is in fact a very plausible reason for the changes in climate – if really shows that we’ve been duped in a horrible way. I literally had to review this part a few times to let it sink in. I mean this DVD is so dope – not even Alex’s dumb-ass, running off at the mouth, messes it up. I’m not saying all this stuff is true…or not speculation. But honestly, and unfortunately, a LOT of it can be verified….which is scary.

Review – a good review.
Now…I’ve seen this documentary before – but I know some of you haven’t….so I’m upping awareness. To be honest, it’s totally fatalistic…..and with great reason. We are being told that the oil is running out, and that we are basically screwed because of it because of the fact that decided WAY too late that maybe we needed a back-up in case the oil started running out.
It suggests (the main point of the DVD) the suburban lifestyles are going to be extinct. Oil was the original driver of this lifestyle…and now, it will kill it. It also covers the super-highway system – a very crucial point because in this DVD is says the system was invented to cut us off of anything NOT connected to “checkpoints”, i.e. major cities and the tolls in between. In the Endgame DVD, it takes this concept even further….saying that this is, in fact. the plan – cutting off ‘blocks’of America into portions for easier control.
The commentators answers to the problem – the complete overhaul of the American lifestyle, from top to bottom. And this is what is fatalistic – they know it won’t happen without massive social upheaval and recreation. They remain careful to steer clear of any political or doomsday talk at length…….but it’s apparent that this upheaval could include death and chaos to the nth degree. We are talking a massive change in America life from top to bottom – the poor, especially in the inner cities, will be squeezed the worst, especially in terms of the probably loss in food production (causing exorbitant pricing). Earlier, I wrote on that maybe the oil alternatives might help, but upon rewatching this documentary…and some reading, over the last week or so, to see what our outlook is: It’s looking grim, folks. Very grim.
